FRIDAY SERMONS
ON FRIDAY, 16th NOVEMBER 2012
THE PREACHER : Drs. H. KHOIRUN SYUEB

Contents of sermons were about:
The piety of Allah must be manifested by every Moslem. By being piety we are near Allah (نحن أقرباء من الله) Qoriibun minallaahi. The nearness to Allah influences our requests to Allah and our livelihood which is showered with blessings by Allah. Everything what we send a prayer up to Allah is granted soon. The livelihood which we long for it comes from the unguessed way as it is included in the Holy Quran Sura Ath-Tholaq Verse 2nd – 3rd :
  وَمَن يَتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ يَجۡعَل لَّهُ ۥ مَخۡرَجً۬ا (٢)وَيَرۡزُقۡهُ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ لَا يَحۡتَسِبُ‌ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسۡبُهُ ۥۤ‌ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بَـٰلِغُ أَمۡرِهِۦ‌ۚ قَدۡ جَعَلَٱللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَىۡءٍ۬ قَدۡرً۬ا  (٣ )
And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out 
 (Al-Quran Sura Ath-Tholaq Verse 2nd).
And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah -  then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent. (The Holy Quran Sura Ath-Tholaq Verse 3rd). 
And furthermore, the livelihood being ours at present must be thanked. even moreover, all of the graces must be thanked in order that our livelihood increases steadily. Allah said in the Holy Quran Sura Ibrahim Verse 7th :
وَإِذۡ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمۡ لَٮِٕن شَڪَرۡتُمۡ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمۡ‌ۖ وَلَٮِٕن ڪَفَرۡتُمۡ إِنَّ عَذَابِى لَشَدِيدٌ۬ (٧)
And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, 'If you are grateful, I will surely
 increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.
Dan (ingatlah juga), tatkala Tuhanmu memaklumkan; "Sesungguhnya jika kamu bersyukur, pasti Kami akan menambah (nikmat) kepadamu, dan jika kamu mengingkari (nikmat-Ku), maka sesungguhnya azab-Ku sangat pedih  .
         (The Holy Quran Sura Ibrahim Verse 7th).
Implementation of our thanking in Allah’s graces is the life must follow the Allah’s rules. The form of implementation in thanking of Allah’s graces is the change of the life from the bad life to the better life (leaving the evil (باطلا) to carry out the right (حقا)) physically and spiritually (  ظاهرا و باطنا).
An example of the thank-Allah of the graces in self-prophet and all of the comrades was described when they were flight from Mecca to Medina as follows:
Prophet of Muhammad SAW was propagating islam in Mecca when he got a lot of obstacles, threats, challenges, and hindrances. The difficult situation made the Messenger of Allah be flight of them from Mecca to Yatsrib (it is Medina now). The the intricate and long march  of 480 km had to be done by them. The huge desert, the steep and barren hill, the suffocating heat which was not payed attention to it at noon, the coldness of the night penetrated their body, the whipped hunger, the seized situation, covered the intricate and long march. In fact even the wealth, the throne, and the pleasure were left. Of course, this raised the dissension among the followers of Messenger. Part of the followers accepted to follow the intricate and long march and the others were declined. All the comrades and followers who followed the messenger convinced “(سمعنا و اطعنا ) hearing and then obeying to do”. The participation of them was based on (قولا ) the statement, (فعلا ) deed, and (إقرارا أو تقريرا  ) decision of Muhammad SAW   
وَمَا يَنطِقُ عَنِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰٓ (٣) إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحۡىٌ۬ يُوحَىٰ (٤)
Nor does he speak from [his own] inclination. (The Holy Quran Sura An-Najm verse : 3rd).
It is not but a revelation revealed,(The Holy Quran Sura An-Najm verse : 4th).
This was the thank-Allah in approving of graces of faith and islam.
The last message from the preacher was then in managing of the world the human must make use of the mind intelligence and the spiritual intelligence. Islam must be accepted not only rationally but also irrationally.
Thus the substance of Friday Sermons on Friday 16th November 2012.

(Terjemahan Khutbah Jumat dalam bahasa Indonesia):

 KHUTBAH JUMAT
PADA TANGGAL 16 NOVEMBER 2012
IMAM DAN KHATIB : Drs. H. KHOIRUN SYUEB

Isi khutbah sebagai berikut:
Taqwa kepada Allah harus diwujudkan oleh setiap muslim. Dengan taqwa kepada Allah  Kita dekat dengan Allah  ( نحن أقرباء من الله ). Kedekatan itu berpengaruh pada permohonan kita kepada Allah dan rezeki kita yang dilimpahkan oleh Allah. Segala apa yang kita panjatkan segera terkabulkan, rezeki yang kita damba segera datang dari jalan yang tak terduga. Sebagaimana termaktub dalam Al-Quran Surah Ath-Tholaq Ayat ke-2 – 3:
 وَمَن يَتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ يَجۡعَل لَّهُ ۥ مَخۡرَجً۬ا (٢) وَيَرۡزُقۡهُ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ لَا يَحۡتَسِبُ‌ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسۡبُهُ ۥۤ‌ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بَـٰلِغُ أَمۡرِهِۦ‌ۚ قَدۡ جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَىۡءٍ۬ قَدۡرً۬ا (٣)
Barangsiapa bertakwa kepada Allah niscaya Dia akan mengadakan baginya jalan keluar. (QS Ath-Tholaq Ayat Ke-2).
Dan memberinya rezeki dari arah yang tiada disangka-sangkanya. Dan barangsiapa yang bertawakkal kepada Allah niscaya Allah akan mencukupkan (keperluan)nya. Sesungguhnya Allah melaksanakan urusan yang (dikehendaki)Nya. Sesungguhnya Allah telah mengadakan ketentuan bagi tiap-tiap sesuatu. (Al-Quran Sura Ath-Tholaq Verse 2nd – 3rd). (QS Ath-Tholaq Ayat Ke-3).
Selanjutnya rezeki yang kini pada kita harus disyukuri, bahkan lebih dari itu segala nikmat yang diberikan oleh Allah harus disyukuri agar semakin bertambah nikmat Allah pada kita. Allah telah menyebutkan:
 وَإِذۡ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمۡ لَٮِٕن شَڪَرۡتُمۡ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمۡ‌ۖ وَلَٮِٕن ڪَفَرۡتُمۡ إِنَّ عَذَابِى لَشَدِيدٌ۬ (٧ 
Dan (ingatlah juga), tatkala Tuhanmu memaklumkan; "Sesungguhnya jika kamu bersyukur, pasti Kami akan menambah (nikmat) kepadamu, dan jika kamu mengingkari (nikmat-Ku), maka sesungguhnya azab-Ku sangat pedih.
 (Al-Quran Surah Ibrahim Ayat ke-7).

Implementasi rasa syukur atas nikmat Allah adalah hidup harus mengikuti aturan Allah. Bentuk implementasi rasa syukur yang lain adalah segera hijrah menuju kehidupan yang lebih baik (meninggalkan yang baathilan (باطلا)  menuju yang haqqon (حقا))  secara zhoohiron wa baathinan (  ظاهرا و باطنا).
Teladan rasa syukur atas nikmat Allah pada diri Rasul dan Para Sahabat dilukiskan semasa hijrahnya beliau sebagai berikut:
Di saat Rasulullah Muhammad SAW mendakwahkan islam di kota Makkah Rasulullah mendapat banyak hambatan, tantangan, ancaman, dan gangguan. Keadaan yang sangat sulit tersebut membuat Rasulullah berhijrah ke kota Yatsrib (sekarang kota Madinah). Perjalanan sejauh 480 km tersebut harus dilaluinya. Luasnya padang pasir, terjalnya bukit tandus, terik panas di siang bolong tak terhiraukan, dingin malam merasuk raga, kelaparan mendera, suasana mencekam menyelimuti liku perjalanan hijrah. Bahkan harta benda, tahta, dan kesenangan hidupnya harus ditinggalkan. Tentu hal ini menimbulkan perpecahan di antara para pengikut Rasulullah. Ada yang menolak, ada pula yang ikut hijrah. Para Sahabat dan pengikut yang mengikuti Rasulullah Muhammad SAW berkeyakinan sami’naa wa atho’naa (سمعنا و اطعنا ). Keikutsertaan para sahabat tersebut dilandasi oleh qoulan ( قولا ).fi’lan (فعلا). wa iqrooron aw taqriiron  (إقرارا أو تقريرا  )  Rasulullah Muhammad SAW merupakan:
وَمَا يَنطِقُ عَنِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰٓ (٣) إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحۡىٌ۬ يُوحَىٰ (٤)
Dan tiadalah yang diucapkannya itu (Al-Quran) menurut kemauan hawa nafsunya. (Al-Quran Surah An – Najm Ayat Ke-3).
Ucapannya itu tiada lain hanyalah wahyu yang diwahyukan (kepadanya).
(Al-Quran Surah An – Najm Ayat Ke-4).
Inilah rasa syukur para sahabat dan pengikutnya dalam menerima nikmat iman dan islam.
Pesan terakhir dari khatib adalah selanjutnya dalam pengelolaan dunia manusia wajib menggunakan kecerdasan akal dengan diiringi kecerdasan spiritual. Islam harus diterima secara rasional maupun irrasional.
Demikianlah isi khutbah Jumat 16 Nopember 2012.
